Professional Supervision

More and more pastors and Christian ministry workers are learning the value of supervision.  In addition, recent Royal Commission findings are recommending that all ministers avail themselves of this vital service, with Australian Baptists recommending between 3 and 10 sessions per year depending on the state.

The main difference between supervision and other forms of personal development or reflection is that the people being cared for in the background (known in supervision language as "the client") are placed at the centre of all reflection and discussion in these sessions.

Cam is a qualified supervisor as well as a practising pastor who is very familiar with churches that are congregationally led.  He is also familiar with school settings, having served in many in the fields of behaviour management, truancy and student coaching as well as interacting with hundreds of chaplains around the nation.

Cam would be a helpful supervisor for pastors primarily, but also school chaplains and educators.  He also has the added experience of both city and regional ministry.

Although in-person meeting is always the best medium, Cam is also available for Zoom sessions where distance calls for it.
